The SRCP is governed by the Research Collaboration Steering Committee (RCSC) and chaired by the Chairman of SKMM.  Members of RCSC are selected from:

·            SKMM

·            Ministry of Energy, Water and Communication

·            Communications and Multimedia Industry

·            Stakeholders

·            Deputy Vice Chancellor of Universities (research)

The RCSC will ensure the:

• Integrity, transparency and independence of the SRCP;
• Establishment and maintenance of world-class standards and reputation; and
• Appropriate networking of available resources i.e. responsible for strategic direction, policy aspects, determination of priorities, recommendation of collaboration projects to the SKMM as well as approval of the annual operational plan of the SRCP.

The RCSC may modify the mandate of the SRCP where and when it deems necessary.
