In order to efficiently fulfill the increasing spectrum demand, spectrum management should put greater emphasis on the consideration of new emerging-efficient technologies as well as the economic aspects of it, such as the issues on spectrum costs. Based on this, the following research areas (but not limited to) are of particular importance to our country:

 ·           Issue of spectrum cost versus network cost

·            The use of frequency adaptive HF systems

·            Spectrum needs for IMT-Advance in Malaysia

 The list above continues to grow, as new technology emerges, there will be new issues to be researched on, in order to efficiently manage the limited resource of the radio spectrum.

 These topics are being discussed in the Forum. Any new suggestions for new topics are also welcomed here.
